Mars, Inc., the maker of popular brands such as M&M's and Snickers, has announced a massive $29 billion deal to acquire Kellanova Foods Group, Inc., the maker of iconic snack brands such as Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, and Pringles.
Mars Expands Brand Portfolio
The acquisition, which is expected to close later this year, will significantly expand Mars' portfolio of food brands and strengthen its presence in the snack food market. Kellanova is a leading global food manufacturer with operations in over 20 countries.
